Will it look weird having dark brown eyebrows and blonde hair. I don't want it platinum blonde, just a lighter brown almost dark blonde.
I have dark brown hair, and used to have bleached highlights, I didn't like the look personally, but it works well for alot of people, but whatever you do I STRONGLY suggest you go to a professional, they can work out which blondes will suit you with your natural hair colour, skin tone and eye colour. Also, bleach can be damaging but can be controlled with regualr deep conditioning, but remember going blonde can be high maintenance, especially with dark hair, just talk to a pro until your happy with the choice, good luck!

Nope i think it will look fantastic, as long as you do it in hi-lights. Why dont you just start off with a few through the top section and then if you like them and if the turn out the colour you want get more. Whatever you do, do not do a full head off bleach youll end up with scorange, fryed hair.
I've got mousey blonde hair so ive always had highlights. I ended up hating having blonde hair as i've also got jet black eyebrows and eyelashes. I decided to get it dyed a light brown colour, and it looked ok but a after a few days it went a funny colour in the sun, so I tried dying it a dark brown colour, and now it looks almost black!! I don't want a colour that i have to constantly re-dye as I don't want to ruin my hair. Please help!!

Honest answer....cut it. You have to start again with a layered "pixie" haircut. They can leave black tips at the ends which will have almost a reverse effect, if it is layered.
according to my hair dresser you should put the dye in on the roots and then wait until 7 minutes before time to comb it through the rest of your hair to glaze it. you could try to color it a lighter color at home, but you need to wait at least 3 weeks between colorings. i would suggest a semi permanent color to see if you like it in the future. and sorry but to lighten your hair back up, i'm going to have to say see a professional. one of my friends did that and she ended up looking like a calico cat. good luck. oh and condition the ends of your hair before you do the color.
every color your going to have to redye because your roots grow back in becase you didn't dye that part, you just dyed the part you had at the time
The whole world is trying to get blond and you don't like yours? Brown on brown makes dark brown. Pool chemicals can rapidly change the shade. When I was US hair dressing school (ancient days ago) they changed my color ever week at least once, but I couldn't go blond because of too much red in my natural color. with no damage accept some extra drying out. They put so much 'stuff' in the dyes now, the chances of severe damage are negligible unless you try to re-bleach back to blond and the red that is in the brown might require longer timing

Blonde hair rarely "fades".. it's pretty much not possible. Use Pantene Blonde Expressions.

I dyed my normally golden blonde hair to a dark red this summer and I love it and have kept it up for about a month now. I've heard you have to gradually lighten darker hair to get it blonde. I'm only thinking of this because I'm planning an RTW trip to start next April and I don't want to worry about dying my hair while traveling or have to see odd roots.
It depends on your hair type, how often you dye it, and what color dye you use.
If you start now, it should Definitely be blonde by next April. If not, you could have it done at a salon just before your trip.
im naturally very light brown, dark blonde never colored in my life then i died it very dark brown a few too many times then i realized i hated it so i went to the salon and they did a rust removal but i didn't lighten much i do not plan on coloring my hair ever again for any reason so does anyone know anything i can use at home thats not gonna make my hair orange or crazy lookin pleaaaase help the speeding up process i don't get out in the sun too much so is there anything that doesn't require sun thanx, rachael

I use to color my hair at home by myself and I messed my hair up bad. I went to a salon and they fixed it right up. So If you want the right ans were you should stop taking answers and go to a salon to get your hair fixed.
Shave all your hair off and start over.
try washing your hair with dawn dish washing liquid for about a week or so. it makes ur hair feel funny and works slowly but doesnt damage your hair at all. it just lightens it a bit. lemon juice also works effectively
You cannot lift the color out with color and a mineral remover will not remove the color either. If your salon used a rust remover to remove your color, they wasted your time and money. There is nothing you can or should use on your own. You need to go to a salon like JCPenney or Regis %26amp; ask for a n experienced stylist..they aren't too expensive and they are trained to do it right OR you can let it grow out. If you do, be sure to get it cut every 6 wks. or so.
im talking about natural blonde hair and there white mom doesnt even have blonde hair. Her hair is still sorta kinky but its beautiful and yes thats her real mom! She also has green eyes! i thought brown eyes were a dominant trait! and blonde hair too i thought it was a reccesive trait!i guess its only in my city...

Somewhere in one of the parents was a recessive blonde gene, that came out with the kid.
the black side probably has a little something in the family.....my cousins's daughter has blond straight hair...with blue....or green eyes some light colour..I haven't seen her in a while--she looks like a white girl...with a tan...her mother has dark brown hair and....blue or green eyes...genetics....I dunno you'd have to check the family tree...
