Hi. Ok. So I want to dye my hair blonde. But Im not sure what color would suit me best. I have a tan body.

i would recommend a honey or buttery blonde shade. If you go too orange-ish, it will clash with your skin tone. If you go too platinum it will make you look way washed out. If you keep it yellow or gold toned, it will look great with your tanned skin. I would not advise doing this on your own; lifting hair to blonde is difficult and many times unpredictable. There are so many ways to mess it up, so I would advise seeing a professional on this one. Make sure when you go in you bring pictures of blonde shades you like. Jessica simpsons hair is a great color, very balanced but not too dark. Also, Jennifer anistons hair is a great example if you are going for the honey shades. Also, if you can, write a list of all the things you have done to your hair. This will help your stylist decide which formula will give you the best results閳?for example:

1. dyed hair dark brown in june 2006 (Clairol color)

2. used a do it yourself hair straightener in july 2006

Try maybe a sandy blonde or a blonde with lots of different shades. Do NOT get a platinum blonde!!! It will make you look weird!!!

What color is your hair now / naturally? I have naturally medium brown hair, and I've gone blonde several times in my life haha. Are you going to do it professionaly or DIY? I always did it myself but I have very hardy hair. Bleach it first, and then put a blonde dye over it. And when you bleach it don't freak when it turns orange and rinse it! It turns orange THEN blonde. Shoot if you like the bleach blonde go for it-- but I think it makes tan girls look like photo negatives. I would try a honey blonde with some buttery blonde highlights. Ala Jessica Alba ;)
