I wish I was born with blonde hair because I love it. The color has cool tones along with warm ones, and just looks great!

I love my dark brown hair for the wintertime, because it suits it, but in the summer I feel so "blah" and dark!

Is there a way to dye it or make it a nice bleach or light blonde color?

if its all virgin hair then you can dye it lighter, but if its dyed brown, the blonde will not take...best bet is to have it professionally done!

If you're going from a dark brown to a light blond I would defiantly go to a salon. I've always had issues with getting my hair even when I went from dark to light. It's also the easier way of ruining your hair if you do it wrong. It's worth the extra money to get it professionally done!

There are certain bleach or dye kits that you can get to make it multi-toned and natural. Best to get one of those.

Definately do it professionally. I have dark brown hair and I went blonde for a summer. I had to go a couple of times to get the desired color. It was too expensive for me to maintain though, so I went dark again. Have fun!

Since your hair has never been dyed then you can dye it whatever lighter color than you want. But with me I naturally have a red tint so my hair turns a little orange when I do it myself. I go to a salon that way they are responsible for getting it the color I asked for.

Yes it will work but only for a period of time.

You'll start getting roots and you'll having to keep bleaching your hair over and over agin. After time, your hair will be like hay.

Yes but you have to bleach your hair...which really hurts it... i have naturally dark brown hair too and i would never want to touch anything with bleach...eeek!

two ways to do it. you can slowly lighten it up one shade at a time or strip it with bleach kit and dye it blonde that way.

Yes but first you have to lift the color with bleach then die your hair to have a base then add highlights to get what you are looking for. This is what I am thinking about doing too! I have naturally dark brown hair but as a kid I had almost blonde hair so I am hopeing to go back to that soon. But doing the bleach, die and highlights is a lot of damage on your hair, so it is up to you if it is worth it and I understand if it is! Also you will have to get this done by a professional trust me don't do it your self and wreck your hair!
