Ok so....I have never dyed my hair before and I want to dye underneathe red. I will make the top layer of my hair shorter so u can see it underneathe. My hair ontop is golden blonde and looks highlighted and underneath is light brown...never dyed it before so it is all natural...what do you think of the red underneathe? thanks.

It'll look good and punkish. Just don't dye it orange red, dye it auburn or bright red.

I think it would be pretty i have done it with dark brown, brown, red, and auburn. It couldn't hurt to try something new go for it!

i think you'll regret it. red loses it's color %26amp; vibrancy the quickest of all the colors. you'll have to maintain this constantly, especially since you want to do something so unique. plus, it sounds like you have gorgeous virgin hair. i know it's tempting to try different styles but once you start, it's a constant process, $$$$, %26amp; before you know it, you'll forget (or never be able to) get back to your original hair color (especially since your's is like mine...blonde/light brown %26amp; highlight-y naturally). how many girls would kill for this color %26amp; pay loads of money to get this done every month not to mention what they put their hair through on a regular basis just to achieve what you have naturally! I know I can't say much because I started experimenting with my hair color when I was 15 (I'm 28 now) %26amp; went red (auburn) as my first hair color experiment but it's never been the same since %26amp; I wish I'd just left well enough alone. I think you should leave it blonde or brown\! Red always seems to mess with the tint of your hair if you dye it again It will leave A red tint till it grows all the way out again

i think it is a bad idea....sounds creative, but not a good idea. just dye all of your hair red not just under. it looks silly. trust me i have had expierence with the exact same colors.

i dont think it will look very good..i think the hair colors you have now is very pretty!! i would keep the same old hair...it looks more natural that red..cuz you cant really get a color of red that looks totaly natural..so keep it! :D
