Bleaching your hair will fry it. So be careful.

My hair was a deep auburn in color, and we wanted to get my hair back to blonde. So first we bleached it, then we left it alone for two weeks, Before bleaching again. Then we added a toner and dyed it blonde. My hair isn't fried now. Because we took our time doing it. Bleaching it too much will permanently damage your hair, so as I said do be careful.

Most hair care sights can give you tips.

I'd suggest getting a professional to help you finish/fix it. I have a cousin who is a hair dresser, who helped me with mine.

That is the best you can do, but it isn't horrible to do it yourself either.

usally things you buy from the market wont work. It says what color it will turn out for certen color hair.

going to the salon is really the way to get real blonde hair with proper care and ingredents.

You can't always go by the directions on the box. What you need to do is....

1. cover your hair with a plastic bag with the bleach on

2. use your hair dryer or some source of heat

3. check it after 20 min., if it still looks gold, then keep it under the heat and keep checking every 10 min.

4. NO longer than an hour

that's it... if you follow these easy directions, your desired hair colour should be achieved :)

Hi, I understand. You need to go to a beauty supply store and find the color you want. Along with that, use the recommended level of peroxide to apply. Since your hair is black, you will need to get what is called a drabber, to remove the gold. Basically, your product that you used did not contain enough peroxide to go past the gold stage. Consult with the sales personnel and they will help you at Sallys Beauty Supply. I use them all the time and I do my own hair. Never buy those pre-packaged things in the grocery store, or pharmacy. Good luck fixing your hair. There is a product at Sallys that will turn your hair almost blonde-white. So pretty.

There are never sure things when it comes to coloring hair. You need to use a 40 volume peroxide bleach mixed with the powder. its the strongest. 10 %26amp; 20 are for hair that is light allready and leave it on untill its light yellow it will start out orangy and get lighter as you wait. Then there are toners you put on after that is prossesd to a light yellow. The toners come in many shades of blondsand as long as your hair is prossesed to the right shade with the bleach it should come out pretty close to the shade of toner. You can get these things at a beauty supply store such as sallys. When you do somthing this drastic its better to let a proffesional do it. Also get a good conditioner as this will leave your hair very dry.dnt put black dye on the striped hair or you may end up with green!. There is a hotline number on the back of clairol hair colors hat can help you fix problems also.

Your hair is black so going to blonde you will always pick up gold tones as you lighten. If you are usin a bleaching kit then i would suggest you re-apply and put a plastic bag over your hair and blow dry.The heat will help your hair to lift out the color faster.Leave it under heat no longer then 20 minutes then wash. If it is a light red color or golden toned you need to then use a ash color,a semi permanent one like light ash blonde. This won't lift any more color out but the ash color will cancel out the red and gold tones and make them look a nice ash color.I do this to my own hair.

Gold hair? Not a problem. Remember that when bleaching hair, you can only lift so many levels. And with your hair being black makes it even more difficult. To get rid of the gold you need to put a toner on your hair. You can purchase this at a beauty supply place. You want to pick a highlift blonde with a blue/violet base that will neutralize the gold in your hair. You will mix it with 10 volume peroxide and apply to dry hair. Leave it on for around 15 mins. Then rinse, shampoo and condition.

Whatever you do, do NOT rebleach your hair. You will damage it and your hair could turn to mush and when that happens, your hair ends up breaking off and falling out. This means it is way overprocessed!!!

You have to go get it professionally done. it isn't something you can do at home with the basic hair dyes. Be careful too, bc it could fry your hair!
