Thats tricky...I would coat the blonde hair with conditioner before coloring. Not sure how you can prevent the red from making the blonde pinkish while shampooing. I would say that timing is crucial.

Your best bet to keep your hair from bleeding is using extremely cold water when rinsing. That is the only thing that has ever worked for me. If you use conditioner to coat your hair, you still have to worry about rinsing THAT out later... Report It
