I find these extra light colourants not effective on darker hair. Watch what you are doing it could turn your hair an orangy colour.

Best to lighten it first then use a colourant.

Schwarzkopf is an excellent brand but be careful, do a strand test.

I have used it on brown hair --it is very good as you can see your hair getting lighter after 10 minutes. However you must make sure you get it on evenly as you could end up with some slightly gingery bits.

If you use it too often it does burn and damage your hair as do all bleach formula's.

If you do use it and you have some ginger or brown still showing just get another one and do the bits required after a day or two unless it's too noticeable then do it again straight away as a little extra on the missed bits won't hurt.
