If your naturally dark, dark will suit you best.

Im naturally dark brown haired and I was blonde for quite a while. Its very damaging and drying to your hair as you need strong bleach to get it blonde. Even thou my hair dresser did mine it still got damaged. Its quite expensive to keep up too as you need to have it done quite regular as the dark roots look awful as soon as they show through.

Its up to you but just take the above into account. It does look cute thou.

Ive gone back to dark now and i think it looks a lot better. Ive decided now to go a bit darker and have it really really dark almost black sort of colour as that looks really good too. So you could go for that? I think it looks great espeically if you are tanned.

Your hair should reflect what you want. If you like the idea of going blonde then do it. But just beware that there are a lot of stereotypes that come with being blonde. However if youre tired of a certain component of you, then I would suggest to change it before you start to hate it.

No. Stick with the natural. When you dye your hair, everyone can tell and it looks terrible. You should get highlights so that it's a lightened brown. It will look bad blonde, believe me, and guys will not like it either.

I think blonde highlights/streaks would looke nice, but not blonde all over. When your roots come through it doesn't look so good and the blonde can take ages to grow out so highlights would look better.

As the above answer said, blondes are called dumb - but being blonde is a damn good excuse when you do something stupid! I should know! LOL

Why take the chance on ruining your hair?? I agree with Blair. If you want something different, try highlights. I think that it looks nice if done professionally.

You can do what you want to do; but I have to ask, why do you not like your own hair color? I hope you haven't bought into that bull about blondes being better or something. I mean, there's nothing wrong with blonde hair, but sometimes people make too big a deal about it. And I just hope you aren't buying the hype and simply joining a bandwagon... Have you tried sprucing up your own brunette color? What about highlights or streaks? You can give your hair a new look by giving it some dimension with other colors that are a bit lighter and darker than your own. It's just that "going blonde" is too easy to me. Whenever someone wants to make a change she says (many times) that she'll color her hair blonde. I've gotten more than enough attention with the combinations of ways I've worn my hair: black with red streaks, black underneath a shimmering light brown, cut short, braids...whatever. Personally, I like red hair. I see all kinds of blondes all the time. I'd appreciate a good shade of red any day over blonde. You see them all the time...but that's just me...

but if you really want to die it a darker, almost dirty blond. plus its almost summer, so your hair will lighten up!
