Ah i envy you, blonde is the easiest to dye. Anyways, i dont know whether you mean highlights, or all over dye, but follow this:

If you have:

Pale Skin- Neon, dark purple, or Maroon color

Light Skin- Medium or Dark Purple

Medium Skin- Pale, dark purple, or a Maroon color

Dark Skin- Neon (if you think you can pull it off) or Light Purple

It depends on your skin tone and the shade of purple.

If you are fair skinned it would probably look fine. I have dyed my hair bunches of colors and it has always looked really good. I think you should go for it. But try to stay away from florescent purple it kinda looks weird. Unless that is what you were going for.
