There used to be a product from John Frieda called beach blonde that was AMAZING, but they discontinued it. What I use now (i'm also a natural blonde that gets mother nature's highlights every summer) is pretty much any good conditioning mask that has either kelp or algae in it (read the labels) or wheat protein. I don't like to spend a lot of money so i usually buy these on sale from Sally's or sometimes Bath and Body works will have a sale on their hair line. Pantene makes a good one too (I think they call it an intensive conditioning treatment) that you can get at wal mart or whatever drugstore. Mainly be sure to look for wheat or sea proteins. The artificial conditioners and the plant oils don't last as long.

What I like to do: Wash your hair really good so it is squeaky clean and ready to absorb the conditioning cream. My hair is very thick and goes to the bra strap so I use about 3 or 4 ounces, but you can always add more. Start near your scalp where your hair starts getting dry but not AT the scalp, or you'l get greasy. Work it through and then put extra on the ends. I like to sit in a hot bath with a bun and a towel over my head to help the heat make it absorb, or other people blow their head with a hair dryer (through a wet towel). I leave it in four about ten minutes and then wash it out, and the next day everyone asks if i've had a haircut or had something done, because it looks that good. Results usually last about a week, so I do this every saturday afternoon.

Good luck!

Try putting conditioner in your hair when it is damp from the shower. Don't rinse it out. This will help seal your hair cuticle, and also absorb into your hair so that chlorine from the pool can't be absorbed as much. Your hair won't get as dry :)

I tend to have the same problems I have long blonde hair and summer really is hard on it, (sometimes I think that winter is worse) I use Pantene Pro V shampoo and conditioner and the type that I use is for permed and color treated hair because it has more nutrients and the conditioner is thicker. Pantene also makes a couple of really good leave in sprays that are great I can't use them because my hair is too long except just on the ends, but my daughters hair is mid back and I spray it all over her hair from root to tip and it helps give her hair and really healthy shine!
