yes you can. Have it done professionally. Highlights would probably look better, because when it starts to grow out, it would look bad.

you can buy the herbal essence box dye for men. it will take at least 2 uses depending on how dark your hair actually is. my brother did this and it took 3 box's. DO NOT do 2 box's in a row. it must be gradually over 2 or 3 weeks. :)

Yes that is almost exactly what I did. What happened though was I have alot of red in my hair even though it is brown so it turned orange.
