I just dyed my hair blonde and it looks really bad and has an orange tint to it,?

I used Revlon Color Silk and already have blonde hair but wanted to lighten it. I need to do something tonight to fix it, I have a friend who has a highlighting kit from Clairol can I use that tonight to fix the problem??? PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!

the "box color" as professionals call it is not good for your hair, revlon makes professional products for salons and for stores, the products in the stores are really for the people who cant afford to get it done professionally, so dont expect professional results from a box color....

you need a toner...your hair is orange so go to a sally's beauty supply (at least) and get a violet or blue base color to counter act the orange...like almost black brown is like a level 2 or 3....and a light blonde is a level 10 or 12...so get the right level that u want and a base...like a 10v or 8v..or 9b...

yeah you should always get hair dying done professionally or you cant guarantee for it to turn out right

if you dont like the colore you have right now... you pretty much have no other choice but to dye it again. make sure you dont use the formula that says " with bleach" on the box. read the whole box before you apply it.

you need to go to the salon and have them put an accelorator on your hair to take the orange tint out and make it blonde....
