I've heard that people who were blonde as infants look good with blonde hair later. well what about people who have never been blonde? how do you figure out if you can pull it off?

Well, its based on your skintone. I was born with blond hair, and it turned a dirty blond as i grew up, lately i've been bleaching my hair a really light blond. My skintone is bright not too pale and not too tan. But it's mostly based on your skintone and (face) But i say try it out and see if you like it. BUT, if your going to bleach your hair yourself, I recommend Clairol Herbal Essences Bleach Blonde. But if you don't want to risk it, go to a PROFESSIONAL salon. Like Aveda or Regis.

It really depends on the type of blonde aswell and your complexion. I'm fairly tanned (from Australia) and I haven't gone fake platinum blonde, I've got really light brown with heaps of blonde/honey highlights.

Just go for it! If you don't like, you can always go back. You just have to have the right color blonde for your skin tone. Find a picture of a blond celebrity that has the same skintone as you and bring the picture to a stylist to get the color. Or you could always buy a wig or some hair pieces to try it out first.
