Just keep in on only for the recommended time, do a strand test first, and wait at least 6 weeks before redoing it and you'll be fine.

But other than that, the glaze sounds like a good idea. clairol makes a colour boosting glaze that might work. Or you can try those glazes that gradually add colour, but you have to use them 3 times a week.

tea could work, not chammomile though, you would use chammomile to enhance blond, not to darken hair.
