I have naturally very light blonde hair, I am average weight, and my hair is in a a-line style choppy chin length bob. My hair is fine, and straight, not too thin. I have yellow skin tones, and green eyes. I want to go a dark espresso/chestnut brown. Should I do it? How? If youv'e done it tell me about it. Thanks!

You can try using a temporary hair rinse in the shade of your choice. Fanciful sells rinses in many shades so you can experiment without making any permanent changes to your hair color. You just comb it through your wet hair, let it dry %26amp; you have brown hair. You'll then be able to see if you want to dye your hair that shade or a lighter one or one with more red highlights. The rinse totally washes out with your next shampoo. I'm blonde %26amp; went brown once, I found it rather depressing. It depends on how you feel %26amp; what looks good to you and your particular coloring and eyes.

It's hard to tell without a photo but you should go for it.

The darker hair will make your green eyes stand out, and it also goes great with your short hair. It'd be a lot more dramatic.

Never gone dark before? Use one of the many online sites to upload your photo and change your hair and see if you like it, or just use photoshop or a similar program to paint over your hair with a darker color.

I have naturally blonde hair and I have tried to dye it brown several times, but everytime i do it only lasts a couples weeks then the blonde starts showing through. it lasts longer in the winter but in the summer there was no way i could keep it brown without blonde appearing in it.
