Why do these women dye their hair blonde and have it look dry and like straw?

If they dye it blonde, why don't more of them take time to invest in good quality shampoo and treatment conditioner. Blonde hair that is long and dry like straw looks horrible. Do you agree? Especially with roots showing. Why don't more women dye their hair darker, they look so much more intelligent and mysterious,

I naturally have very light blonde hair.

And I dye my hair black.

it makes me look like a china doll Ive been told =P

But I have light blonde roots showing and thats worse than dark roots in my book.

But people should get a quality condition instead of looking like'Scarecrow heads'as my friends call them :]

I have dyed my blonde before, and I had to use a really good conditioning treatment to keep it from looking dry. I eventually went back to medium brown because it was just too much maintaince.

lol i highlight blonde. I think its just a personal preference. Some people look better blonde than brunette. I mean come on .....could you picture pamela anderson as a brunette? psh no. hah. But if they are gonna dye it they still need to take care of their hair cuz straw-ey hair doesnt look good i totally agree. But some women cannot afford expensive products to put on their hair or they cannot afford to dye every couple months (therefore letting roots show).

Intelligent and mysterious is your opinion. I "dye" my hair blonde (lol)...but my hair is long and beautiful...Anyone that colors (not dye btw) their hair, whether lighter or darker, has regrowth, its all in maintaining it! I do agree with you that ppl that don't maintain their hair color looks horrible.
