I have gone swimming alot ad now my light blonde hair is a tint of green. I did vinager last year but its SOOO gross that I dont want to do it again.

I have eard lemon juice but I dont want it to eat away at my hair.

I heard tomato juice so would like Spagetti sauce like Classico work? What about V8 juice?

Will ketchup work and if so how long do I leave it in my hair?

Or are there anyother home remedies that arent uber gross but work? thanks

just rub the ketchup into your hair like shampoo then wash it out then do your normal routine no need to leave it in just use tomato sauce all the time!

Hi Kylie! The one thing no one has yet mentioned is that THE best way to keep green out of your hair is to get it wet in the shower or with a hose BEFORE you jump in the pool. I have super light blond hair, too, and this helps TONS. It's when your hair is dry and you jump in that it sucks in all the chlorine in the water. So be sure and soak it first.

The lemon method will work as the guy above said, but it does take time and it's quite a chore. You don't have to go to a salon. My parents owned a Beauty Supply %26amp; Salon for 15 years and we had people come in all the time with this. They sell professional strength green removers you can actually buy pretty reasonably at a Beauty Supply. One we sold a lot of was Kenra's brand in a green pouch that stripped minerals and chlorine out of hair. I used it and it worked the first time, every time without hurting my hair. Smelled much better too! lol These are much better and faster than any of those smelly home remedies.

answer go to a chemists or a Sallys shop and buy a decent toner for the colour you desire, that will do it, keep sauce for chips, and lemons for drinks, do not ruin your hair
