I cant really afford 2 get my hair professionally done right now..but i want to dye it back to my natural brown color. I have seen my friends do their own hair before going blonde-brown and it always seems to look dull and washed out unless they dye it 2 or 3 times..I want it to look good after the first color job! =]] any suggestions??

Try a burgundy brown colour . You can try loreal Excellance or Loreal Feria Range . It's stronger
