How would I get the perfect blonde hair color?

My husband would like to dye his hair a platinum blonde / white color. He had mediumish/darkish brown hair and we tried bleach but that just turned it orange. If we get another box of blonde hair color / bleach will that turn it the color we are looking for?? Any advice? Thanks!

You really should just go to a salon and have a professional do it. The more you guys mess with it at home, the worse its going to look.

Looks like your in trouble. I would let that dye and bleach clear before i do anything else. Bleaching is way worse than dying your hair. So if you put those 2 together than you out of luck. Dont do anything else to your hair or it will star breaking out. Your husband will have nop hair at all. You dont want that do ya. I would suggest you go to a hair stylist fast. you need to strip the hair of its color first with a bleach product, I recommend Clairol. Literally, you will need to buy at least 2 boxes as it is a process (think journey vs destination) and wait a couple days in between uses so your scalp does not burn. There are specific products for this....
