Swimming with blonde hair?

I bleached my hair two weeks ago and am planning to dye it blonde tomorrow, but two days after im going swimming, will it go green?

I know it's the iron or something that turns it green but will it?!

Thanks

Use a clarifying shampoo after your swim and all will be OK.

It's not the iron that turns it green, its the clorine in the pool...

just make sure you wash it with shampoo immediately and try not to stay in the pool for hours at a time =)

Swimming with blonde hair?

no. It only turns green if you have some kind of acidic something in your hair like lemon juice.

Swimming with blonde hair?

No, it won't turn green right away, just make sure you shower and shampoo your hair as soon as you can after swimming.

Swimming with blonde hair?

i don't think it will turn green if your only swimming once but if it does the way you get rid of the green is to wash your hair with grape Koolade powder. It really does work.

Swimming with blonde hair?

it is the chlorine that does it .. get a special shampoo from the chemist this will conteract the damage and protect your hair ..

Mine has never gone green

Swimming with blonde hair?

Um, irons dont turn your hair green. I have dirty blonde hair, my hair turns green after like a week of swimming. I use a clarifying nexxus aloe rid shampoo + conditioner. i also use the treatment once a week.

Swimming with blonde hair?

if the water has clorine, then i think that the blonde wont work then.

sorry!

Swimming with blonde hair?

I have very blonde hair, and when I was on swim team, this used to happen to me all the time. It will probably only turn green if you swim for a bunch of days in a row, but to be safe, if the pool has a shower, rinse your hair out immediately and wash it as soon as you get home. Normal shampoos will work, but if youre really worried, buy a special swimmers shampoo. If you dye it blonde, it will always turn green if you dont wash it out, not just right after you dye it.

if u do go swimming and ur hair does turn green this is what u can do to get the green out of ur hair with asprin! tomatoe juice lemon juice and baking soda

1.Aspirin

Aspirin is good for more than pain relief and clot prevention. Aspirin is also used to remove green stains from blonde hair. Simply place eight regular aspirins in a glass of warm water, and allow them to dissolve. Saturate the hair with the aspirin and water, and after approximately fifteen minutes, rinse away the aspirin along with the green tint. Wash and condition the hair as usual.

2. Tomato Juice

Tomato juice is said to effectively remove green coloring from blonde hair, leaving it shiny and very manageable. The acid in the tomato juice helps remove the undesirable color. Simply pour about 8 ounces of tomato juice into a plastic cup, and take it into the shower. Before washing, saturate the hair with tomato juice, and allow it to remain on the hair for several minutes. Thoroughly rinse out the juice, and wash and condition the hair as usual.

Lemon Juice

Lemon juice works much in the same way as tomato juice. The citric acid in the juice works to remove hard metal stains and undesirable green coloring from the hair. Simply saturate the hair with lemon juice, and allow it to set for several minutes. Rinse out the lemon juice, and wash and condition as usual.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is a very versatile product that is used for a variety of cleaning and beauty purposes. Make a paste with baking soda and shampoo, and apply it to the hair. Allow the mixture to remain on the hair for several minutes, and thoroughly rinse it out. Shampoo and condition as usual.

Swimming with blonde hair?

Quite possibly. I wouldn't get your hopes up that it wont turn it green. I would wait until after you go swimming...

The chlorine is what usually makes your hair turn green... It's done it to many of my shirts...

Like I said, if you really want to avoid turning your hair green, wait until after you go swimming...

That's my advice, I hope I helped.

Swimming with blonde hair?

Yes it will.
