i agree that a few months would be best. Since you are a natural medium blonde around a level 7-8, this means that you do not have the pigment that a dark brown haired person may have. So when you add a artificial pigment to ur hair, it will not hold for as long as you think. Dont get too discouraged, just wait till it starts to fade which will start soon.

Oh, that stinks. That is why I have never dyed my hair. I know too many people who have gotten it mixed up. Well, I know for a fact it takes at LEAST a few months, because I have a friend waiting for hers to go back, too. I'm not sure if it's possible to dye over a dye, but maybe you could dye the brown blonde.

Depends if you want it to go back naturally, or if you only used "semi" perminent hair dye. If you want it to grow back naturally it depends on how fast your hair grows... but it might look silly having half blonde hair and half brown....if you know what i mean.... if you used semi perminent hair dye then it should come out in 5 months.. i would wait a month or so before chemically dyeing it back.
