you dye bleached hair just the same... just be ware that the color will turn out a little different with bleached hair. i suggest just having it done professionally so you don't end up with orange hair or a completely different color than what you wanted.

GO to a salon if you die your hair over bleach it will look great to start with but will fade quickly.If you die it a darker shade of blonde that shouldn't be a problem. if you dye it brown you will get orangey mousey hair, dye it black and you'll end up withgreen hair(the blue from the dye and the yellow from the bleach), if you dye it red it will turn bright orange.

So unless you're planning to dye it blonde go to a hairdresser.

dont do it ur self cause if ur going darker it can turn out a green color !! ur best resault is to let a proffesional hair dresser do ur hair and after that you can do it urself again cause the 1st time it wont work out if you do it and youll ruin ur hair so pay some $$$ to get it done the right way then your able to do it the next time !!!

It depends on how "bleached" you are talking. If your hair has been severly bleached...DON'T, I repeat, DON'T try to do this yourself. After bleaching my hair for 10 years, I went to a salon and basically they told me that they would have to do multiple processes to try to put color back into my hair. Bleaching is not like dying...instead of putting color in...you're taking color out. Your hair at that point is very porous and can take the under color of the dye. Results could be anywhere from green, purple, or pink. It will cost you a very $$$ amount at the salon, but if you try yourself and results are horrible, you will have to go to the salon anyway. It's worth it in the end. You may too have to sign something at the salon stating "no guarantee" to cover their end. Good luck!

Ok so it does depend on how long you have been bleaching your hair, if you have been doing it for a long time your hair will be unevenly porous( dry and thirsty) this means when you put any sort of colour on your hair the porous parts of your hair will grab and the results will be patchy!

If you have only had your hair bleached once or twice you can do it at home, some tips.......

* if you want to go to a darker blonde, go for it!!

* if you want to go to a red shade you will need to put a light/medium ash brown tint on 1st (this will act as a base shade)

you can then put the red colour over.( if you dont put the base shade on hair will go pinky or orange)

* if you want to go brown put a chestnut colour on 1st (this is a mix of brown with a hint of red) as your base then colour with your chosen brown tint, the red will not show once you have put the brown tint over the red just helps to stop the brown looking dull and flat

* if you want to go black put a red ( not ginger..red) tint on (it will look awful but dont despair) then cover with the black... the red just gives depth and stops the hair looking dull and flat you will not see the red!!

And always use products for coloured hair as this will help keep the colour for longer

Depends on how trashed your hair is. If it's in a bad way don't dye it any more until you get some treatment on it. Go to a hairdresser, ask them about what your wanting to do. The safe way is to go to a salon and have them do it for you. But if you wanna do it yourself make sure your hair is in good condition first. I've done this before and because I make sure my hairs in fantastic shape it's always been fine for me.

you just use regular dye but be warned your hair is probably already damaged and continued processing will cause more damage

First of all bleaching your hair is horriable. I'll bet your hair feels like straw. You will never get the exact color you are looking for, because of the bleach. Go to a salon they can help you out, even with the salon they can not make it perfect but it will turn out alot better then what you will be able to do out of a box.

Are you trying to get your hair white, or trying to color over bleached hair?

For one go to sally and use bleach w 20 vol. peroxide that will get you lifted and toned at the same time. unless you have really dark hair, then use 30vol. peroxide. color your hair,ether all of it, or what you want bleached and let it sit for 45 min only if you haven't bleached it yet. sit by a heater for the heat, it will process better %26amp; not yellow. then while you wash it, use shimmering lights shampoo, the purple shampoo will allow it to turn white. let the shampoo sit for a while.

If you are coloring over belached hair, you will have to fill your hair w/ a color (called a filler) then, actually color it.

The best thing would be to visit a professional,however if you want to have a go yourself you must pre-pig first. THIS MEANS PUTTING BACK THE COLOUR PIGMENTS IN YOUR HAIR. when bleaching your hair goes through a process of colour,red,orange, yellow then white. You must reverse this or your hair will go green especially if you use ash base colours.So it depends on the result you want as to what to do first.Do not put a colour strait on until you put back the pigment. get advice before you start.

Dying hair while its bleached may result in even more damage to your hair, because that is what bleach does to it anyway. If you are going to dye it make sure you choose a color slighty lighter than the one you want because the bleach will make it darker. And it also takes a lot less time dor the dying process to happen so make sure you keep checking what color you hair is. Before you know it, it will be a lot darker than you wanted.
